UTC GBFL Empowers Grenadians Through “Let’s Talk Investing” Seminar

Grenada | May 22, 2026 – UTC Global Balanced Fund Limited (GBFL) successfully hosted its “Let’s Talk Investing” seminar on Thursday 21 May, at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium Conference Room, bringing together attendees for an engaging evening focused on building financial confidence and expanding investment knowledge.

Held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the seminar formed part of UTC GBFL’s ongoing commitment to advancing financial literacy and empowering individuals across the region to make informed financial decisions. This seminar reflects UTC GBFL’s continued commitment to expanding financial education across the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union and builds on the success of similar investment education sessions recently hosted in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Saint Lucia.

Participants benefited from insightful presentations delivered by UTC GBFL investment experts Omar Burch Smith, Regional Collective Scheme Manager, and Trecia-Anne Henry, Regional Investment Advisor, who shared practical guidance on the fundamentals of investing, strategies for growing wealth, and creating long-term financial opportunities.

The interactive session provided attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with the presenters, ask questions, and gain valuable perspectives on how strategic investing can support personal and family financial goals.

“This seminar reflects our continued commitment to equipping individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to build stronger financial futures,” said Mr. Burch-Smith. “At UTC GBFL, we believe that investor education is a critical part of financial empowerment, and we are proud to support communities across the Caribbean through initiatives like this.”

The “Let’s Talk Investing” seminar is one of several educational initiatives led by UTC Global Balanced Fund Limited aimed at strengthening financial literacy, promoting wealth creation, and helping individuals make more confident investment decisions.
